BioGreetings! My name is Derek, and I am a humble student. Professionally you could say I'm an aspiring lunatic. In other words, I'm studying film.
What's this journal all about, eh? Hmmm... Tough one. I'll get back to you on that.
In some vague manner, I suppose this is all part of just finding something to say, specifically, that one special thing a person always seems to be attempting to define; the ambiguous, ultimate goal of all the artwork he or she scribbles away at in some strange method of communication. One suspects it may be different for each person. I know not of what mine is yet, but most likely the journey will involve multiple parts, outer space, an intermission or two, and at least one intricately-choreographed dance number.
